The car park is on the road along the Grwyne Fawr valley.

North via Bal Mawr and Chwarel y Fan, descending to cross the river near Blaen y Cwm, then up to Pen y Gadair Fawr, returning south via Pen Twyn Mawr and Disgwylfa. 3000ft ascent.

Description:
IThis is the inaugural walk for a new circular walk for the Brecon Beacons National Park.

A short climb up to the Allt via the Paragon tower, then down to the shores of the lake, taking in Llangasty church and the Crannog. Climb up to Mynydd Llangors and back via Bwlch. It may be necessary to take a slightly longer route if it is wet. 2000ft ascent.
