Description:
A high level walk from Llanthony Priory to Crickhowell following the route of the second stage of the Beacons Way, via Garn Wen, Partrishow Church and Table Mountain. 3000ft ascent.

Up Macnamara’s Road

Description:
Car park:- Take Llanbedr Rd out of Crickhowell, up valley for 4 miles. Right at no through road sign.

To start, with a gentle rise up to the col, past the Hermitage with its tales of Macnamara, over the picturesque Tal y Maes bridge. Back along the ridge via Pen Twyn Glas with a steepish descent to the finish. 2000ft ascent.

Description:
An ascent of Table Mt., before descending to the Grwynefechan via the Beacons Way. Across the valley up to the top of Crug Mawr and then down, again, to the Grwynefawr. Another ascent of Sugar Loaf via Fforest and returning via Llangenny to CRiC. 5000ft ascent.

Ascend Cwm Cwmbeth & then follow the contour west through fields & woods with fine views into the Usk valley. Descend via a green lane & return to Crickhowell by the river. 1000ft ascent.

This walk is intended for Welsh speakers and those learners with a reasonable level of Welsh as it will be led by a Welsh speaking guide.

An ascent through Graig Wood and along to the Lamb & Flag. Returning via Llanwenarth Church and the river Usk to Glangrwyney. 1000ft ascent.

Govilon Heritage Trail

Description:
Led by a local historian, this walk follows the railway track and country lanes to explore the west of the village of Govilon. The route keeps to steady gradients and all weather tracks. A few diversions are highlighted off the route to explore other village treasures.
