Car park—turn right in Bwlch, just after sharp left hand bend coming from Crickhowell. Walk up & over Mynydd Llangorse before dropping down via Cockitt Hill & up Mynydd Troed. Along the ridge SE & then turning SSW to descend to the valley & up again to Bwlch. Ascent 2700ft.

A walk around the back of the Sugar Loaf following the Grwyne Fawr stream using the footpaths and lanes on the lower slopes of the mountain. This route will return to Llangenny along various paths on the Llanbedr side of the valley. A pleasant Sunday morning stroll in time for lunch at the Dragon's Head.
