Description:
A linear walk from Pengenfordd via Castell Dinas up the Dragon's Back to the tops of Waun Fach , Mynydd Llysiau, Pen Allt-mawr, Pen Carreg Calch and Crug Hywel back to Crickhowell. 2700 ft ascent.

Pen y Fan Circuit

Start Car park at SO055175 on the road past Talybont reservoir

Description:
Drive to Talybont, then turn south over canal and along reservoir to car park at top of hill.

Walk through the woods to the Neuadd reservoirs followed by a short steep climb to the ridge. Then easy walking via Cornddu to Pen y Fan, returning via the Roman road. 3000ft ascent.
