A fine but cold week of weather added to the enjoyment of over 700 walkers at this year’s festival. Well we have had fabulous week of walking! The weather has been great – quite spring-like on some days – and the promised blizzards of last weekend never appeared. Today is fine, reasonably warm with rain showers.
Tomorrow, Sunday, the forcast is not good. High winds and rain, maybe sleet on the higher mountains. Walks will proceed where it is safe to do so and all walk leaders have alternative walks should they decide the weather and conditions are unsuitable.

There is quite a lot of snow on the tops of the mountains – and even down to low level in places – so PLEASE COME PREPARED! We may have to vary some walks if conditions are not suitable. This will be at the sole discretion of the walk leader on the day.
