The Big Band Concert/Dance last weekend was a sell-out as was Doug Dcott and the Twmpath this weekend. The other events during the week have been well attended too.

We are now in the last weekend of the festival with a number of walks out today and tomorrow. the forecast for tomorrow is, again, bright, but cold.

Photography Competition

If you have any photos that you took during the festival and would like to enter our photograpohy competition then please email your pictures to walkingfestival@crickhowellinfo.org.uk. There is a £50 prize for the best photo.

Tomorrow, Sunday, the forcast is not good. High winds and rain, maybe sleet on the higher mountains. Walks will proceed where it is safe to do so and all walk leaders have alternative walks should they decide the weather and conditions are unsuitable.

The forecast for the early pary of next week is reasonable – sun and showers.

We still have a few tickets for the Band Concert on Saturday 27th, Doug Scott on Friday 5th March and the Twmpath on 6th March.

Both Paddle and Pedals have a few places left.

The Renga Poetry event/walk – try your hand at composing Japanese-styled poetry with our resident poet, Graham Hartill – has plenty of places. This is a fun event and has proved very popular in the last two years. Maybe because it ends up in the pub!

And for children there is not only the Musical History of the Canal, Walk 61 (we can take up to 30 people on that) but also the Woodland Arts on Sunday 7th March.
