Beautiful moorland ridges around the unfrequented Rhiangoll valley with sweeping views on all sides. Up Pen Tir on the western side and on over Mynydd Llangorse and Mynydd Troed to Pengenfordd. Up again to Mynydd Llysiau and the eastern edge, before descending by Cwmrhos. Ascent 3000ft

A walk around the top of the Grwyne Fechan taking in Pen y Gadair Fawr, Waun Fach (boggy) and returning on the western ridge down the side of Cwm Banw. Ascent 2600ft

The Industrial Archaeology of Mynydd Llangatwg – looking at the industrial archaeology associated with the infamous Crawshay and Joseph Bailey, the Nantyglo Ironmasters. The walk will cover the Darren Tramroad, the Lonely Shepherd Quarries, the Wern Watcyn Incline, Llangatwg Quarries and Bailey’s 1829 tramroad.

A longish but pleasant walk down from Keeper’s Pond on Blorenge, via Cwm Llanwenarth to Gilwern and then along the canal to CRiC.
