Details:
North to Mynydd Llangorse and Cockit Hill then down to Llangorse to visit the 15th century church for tea and biccies! Around the lake past the crannog and on to Llangasty church. Then up to the Allt taking in the Paragon Tower and the ancient British fort on the top. Continue along the Allt and then down to Bwlch and finish with bangers and mash at the New Inn!! Ascent 2000ft.

A high level circuit of the Ewyas Valley via the beer trail to Offa’s Dyke Path, down via Upper Pentwyn, up the other side to skirt the Gaer and then north along the ridge to descend via Cwm Bwchel. 2500ft ascent.

The walk takes a route via the Skirrid Forest School site. Participants can choose to walk the ridge with the wardens or remain on site with Miranda Thomason to enjoy bushcraft and creative activities. The group will reunite around the campfire for a hot lunch and a chance to talk to the National Trust about their work and site management.

Details:
Along the tramroad to Clydach Ironworks, then up to an old railway track to Gelli Felin. A steep descent down to the Devil’s Bridge and then up to the Drum & Monkey Inn and onto the old Llangattock tramroad. Pass below the Lonely Shepherd and descend to the start. Ascent 900 ft.
 
This walk is a special interest walk with emphasis on the interest, not just the walk.

Starting with a gentle ascent along country lanes and then crossing open moorland overlooking Llangorse lake. Returning to Cwmdu for a hot drink and Welsh Cakes made by the winner of the 1st Prize Royal Welsh Show 2009 (£2). Note there are some stiles on this walk. It will all be taken at a gentle pace – time to chat!!
 
Walk has one or more steep climbs, but they will be taken at a very slow pace.
