Details:
A linear walk from Pengenfordd via Castell Dinas up the Dragon’s Back to the top of Waun Fach. Then back via Mynydd Llysiau, Pen Allt-mawr, Pen Carreg Calch and Crug Hywel to Crickhowell. 2700 ft ascent.

The Centre is across the dam at the north end of Talybont reservoir.

An easy ascent along the Taff Trail beside Talybont Reservoir, then over the Eastern Beacons via fine waterfalls and high moors. After a peek into Cwm Oergwm, descend by Carn Pica and Twyn Du, across the dam to the start. Ascent 2700ft.

From the Gliffaes Hotel walk along the Usk to Llangynidr, then skirting the south of Tor y Foel, before ascending to the top. Back via the Usk Valley Walk to the hotel and a Gliffaes Tea (£5)! Ascent 2000ft.
