At Tretower Court they have created a suite of rooms as they may have been in 1470 when the Vaughans were part of high society. Discover a sophisticated way of life: from intricately carved furniture right down to the pots and pans of a working kitchen, where actors in period costume will be cooking food. You have to bring your own food to eat, though!Sorry!

We Welsh celebrate our National Saint's Day in a number of ways, but the most usual is through music and song. Come and join us in St Edmund's, Crickhowell's 14th century parish church, for a varied evening of music from Wales and beyond, perfomed by local musicians. Our national instrument, the harp, will be prominent along with a variety of other instruments, singers, a folk group and the Crickhowell Choral Society. Profits from the evening will be divided between the church and the Alzheimer's Society.

Join us for a cosy evening of poetry in front of the fire with these celebrated local poets as they read from their various published works, much of which has been inspired by the local landscape, history, myths and legends.

Bog-Mawnog showed the work of Elizabeth Adeline, Lin Charlston, Kirsty Claxton, Chris Meredith, Deborah Aguirre Jones and Pip Woolf funded by the Arts Council of Wales to create a response to the peat scar on Pen Trumau in the Black Mountains in 2011. This evening event will include slides and poetry from the exhibition as well as discussion with artists, interested volunteers and professionals from a range of disciplines who have participated in making the Woollen line on Pen Trumau.
