A 6.5 mile circuit of the Talybont Reservoir on forest trails and fields with views of the reservoir and surrounding hills during the winter months when the trees are bare, 4-4.5 hours. Easy going apart from one short descent which is slightly rough. Dogs can be off lead for most of the route at the owners' discretion.
DIRECTIONS TO START
Allow 30 minutes from CRiC. Take A40 towards Brecon, through Bwlch and turn left to Talybont and right into village. Take first left over canal and follow this road up to the reservoir. The lay-by is 0.5 mile past the dam on your left.
