Distance: 6 miles ( 9.6 km )

Leader: Sue Brown
A minibus takes us from The Visitor Centre to Storey Arms Outdoor Education Centre. We start along the Beacons Way path which gradually ascends the hillside to the west of the A470 before levelling out along the edge of Craig Cerrig-gleisiad Nature Reserve. We reach Fan Frynach (629m/2,063ft) being the top of our walk and have a well earned rest. We turn north east and descend a grassy ridge path, eventually meeting the A4215 main road. We cross over the road and walk across level fields to Traeth Moor Nature Reserve to find a track which leads to the Visitor Centre. Some rocky paths and stream crossing on the ascent with some mild exposure (which can be avoided by walking at a higher level)
