A walk through varied scenery circling Llangorse Lake – starting and finishing at the side of this beautiful lake with the Crannog. Taking in mountain moorland, meadows and woodland via the Iron Age Fort of Allt yr Esgair and the village of Bwlch.

DIRECTIONS TO START

From Crickhowell, take A40 towards Brecon, go though Bwlch village, turning right at the war memorial statue - sign posted Llangorse (B4560). Follow this road until you reach Llangorse village.  In the village, drive past The Castle Inn on the right, then take the first left after the Red Lion. After 100 metres take the next left turn which is signed 'Llyn/Lake'
